Cold Air Intake CAI Scoop/Duct for R33 Nissan Skyline Series II (S2) (1995-1998) HQ PLA . NOTE: Required duct hose sizing is standard 76mm/3" ducting.
The R33 S2 cold air intake (CAI) scoop allows the pod/air filter to be fed cold external air, and provides additional engine bay cooling.
This item has been designed for R33 Nissan Skyline GTS-T Series 2, and will not fit Series 1 GTS-T, or GT-R’s. We currently sell other generic cold air intake scoops which may be suitable for your vehicle.
The CAI scoop has been specifically designed to capture large volumes of air, then propel this at a higher velocity through the ducting up to the engine bay. The scoop is streamline and smooth in design to minimise turbulent airflow. The scoop has been designed as such that it provides sufficient clearance for most intercooler piping, etc.
The CAI scoop is printed in Black PLA Plastic, which ensures high temperature resistance and mechanical strength. The scoop is lightweight yet strong and durable - it will not degrade over time in normal circumstances/use. The CAI scoop has been vigorously tested and is safe for street use.
The CAI scoop comes with a custom bracket and M6 bolt to allow easy mounting to an original mounting point (see photos for location) - Ensure not to overtighten during installation. The 76mm/3" duct hose is not included and will need to be sourced by the user. The upper cold air intake duct adaptor is sold separately, but can be purchased on our website.
